Terms & Conditions
CI W EN operates with structured policy and creative integrity.
The following Terms & Conditions outline the framework under which all services are provided.
By engaging CI W EN, you agree to the terms detailed below.
1. Booking & Deposit

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking.
• No work begins without cleared deposit.
• The remaining balance must be paid prior to final fitting, delivery, or collection.
• No garment leaves the studio without cleared full payment.
If the event date is within 7 days at the time of booking, full payment is required upfront.

2. Payment Terms

• Invoices are due within 48 hours of issue.
• A 10% late fee is applied after 5 days.
• Production pauses automatically if payment is not received.
CI W EN pricing is fixed and non-negotiable.

3. Consultations
Creative consultations are paid services.
Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be credited toward a booked project if confirmed within 7 days.
No design development, sketches, or sampling begins without formal booking.

4. Custom-Made Exemption (UK Law)
All CI W EN garments are custom-made or made-to-order.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013,
bespoke goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period once production has commenced.
Deposits secure production allocation and are not refundable once work has begun.

5. Creative Authority
CI W EN retains final design authority.
Reference images are directional only. Exact replicas are not produced.
All work reflects the interpretation and authorship of CI W EN.

6. Fittings & Revisions
Fitting allowances vary by service tier.
Minor refinements within the approved scope are included.
Structural design changes or scope expansions are billed separately at £150 per hour (1-hour minimum).

7. Measurements & Liability
Client-provided measurements are accepted in good faith.
CI W EN is not responsible for inaccuracies in measurements unless taken directly by CI W EN.
Reworks resulting from incorrect measurements are billable.

8. Delivery & Acceptance
Delivery timelines are provided as windows, not fixed dates unless agreed under a rush structure.
Work is considered accepted upon delivery or collection.
Concerns must be raised within 48 hours of receipt.

9. Intellectual Property
All designs remain the intellectual property of CI W EN.
Clients may not replicate, reproduce, or commission copies of designs elsewhere.
CI W EN retains the right to document and publish completed work
unless a written confidentiality agreement is established prior to deposit.

10. Force Majeure
CI W EN is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness,
supplier disruption, natural events, or event rescheduling.

11. Governing Law
These terms operate under the laws of England and Wales.
